Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as cleaning the church facilities to teaching Sunday School classes and leading worship.

Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.  Contact Daniel Wesley for more information.

The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, collecting tithes and offerings, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group whose ministry is integral to church life.  To volunteer, contact Bert Jones.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication.  Contact Daniel Wesley for more information.

Nursery and Children's Ministry

We are always looking for volunteers in our children's ministries.  Opportunities include volunteering in the nursery, teaching children's church, presenting the children's moment in the morning service, providing snacks for kids' events, helping with Vacation Bible School, the Fall Festival, or Easter Egg hunt, and teaching TeamKID and Sunday School classes.  Contact Ronda Pope to volunteer today.

Women's Ministry

Our Women's Ministry at Mt. Pleasant is an active group of women of all ages who meet together to encourage and challenge each other. Through weekly Bible studies in the fall and spring and monthly social activities, our Women's Ministry provides a safe, loving environment in which women can grow in their faith and service to the church.  Contact Barbara Smith for more information.

Men's Ministry

Being a Christian man in today's society is harder than ever.  At Mt. Pleasant, we seek to equip men for their unique role in both their families and the church.  Ministry events include Men's Prayer Breakfasts, Bible studies, and service projects.  Contact Deacon Chairman Keith Damron for more information.

Senior Adult Ministry

Mt. Pleasant's Senior Adult Ministry provides a fun place for senior adults to fellowship and grow in Christ together.  Senior adults have monthly activities.  Check the "EVENTS" page for dates and times or contact Don Smith for more information.
